Help center / Managing attendees
Edit an attendee's details
Fix a name or email, change their ticket type or status, add tags and internal notes.
Steps
- Open Attendees and click the person's row. A panel opens on the right.

Attendee drawer open beside the list, showing their details
- Change what you need: Full name, Email, Ticket type, Status, Tags or Notes (internal).
- Click Save changes.
What each field affects
Full name — appears on their badge and in emails from now on. Fix typos before badges are printed.
Email — where every future email goes, and the address they are recognised by. Changing it does not re-send anything they already received.
Ticket type — what they are registered for. Changing it does not adjust money either way; there is no charge and no refund. Handle payment separately if it matters.
Status — see Find and filter your attendee list for what each status means. Moving someone to Confirmed does not automatically email them; use Resend a confirmation and QR ticket.
Tags — your own labels, comma-separated. Useful for anything evenclo has no field for: "VIP", "speaker", "dietary — vegan", "bus 2". You can filter and bulk-act by tag.
Notes (internal) — visible only to your team. Never shown to the attendee, never printed on a badge.
Fixing a wrong email address
This is the most common repair. Change the email, save, then use Resend a confirmation and QR ticket so the ticket reaches the right inbox.
Their QR code does not change, so anything already printed still scans.
Common problems
Changes did not stick. Make sure you clicked Save changes and not just closed the panel.
You cannot edit anything. Finance and viewer roles are read-only here. Check-in staff can only amend limited details at the door.
The registration answers are not editable. The drawer edits the core record, not the answers they gave your form. To correct those, ask them to re-register, or record the correction in Notes (internal).
You want to change several people the same way. Use Act on several attendees at once.
