Review the attendee audit log

See who changed what and when — the first place to look when a record is not as you left it.

Who can do thisowneradmin

The audit log records changes made to attendee records: what changed, when, and which team member did it.

Reach for it when a record is not as you remember, when numbers moved unexpectedly, or when you need to answer "who cancelled this person?"

Steps

  1. Open Attendees and click Audit log.
Attendees page with the Audit log button
Attendees page with the Audit log button
  2. Read down the list, most recent first.
Audit log panel listing changes with who made them and when

  3. Page through for older entries.

What it is good for

"Who cancelled this person?" Find their record in the log and you have the name and the time.

"Why did our confirmed count drop?" A bulk status change or a bulk delete shows up as a run of entries at the same moment.

"Did that import actually run?" The log shows the resulting changes.

A shared account being used by several people. The log records the account, so if three people share one login you learn only that the login did it. That is a good reason to give everyone their own — see Invite someone to your team.

What happens next

The log is read-only. It tells you what happened; it does not undo anything. Fix the record itself with Edit an attendee's details.

Common problems

A change you expected is not there. The log covers attendee records. Changes to tickets, your form, pages or team members are not recorded here.

You cannot open it. Owner and admin only.

Too many entries to find anything. Work backwards from when you noticed the problem rather than reading forward, and narrow the attendee list first so you know which record to look for.

You need the audit trail for money. Use the Reconciliation tab and the Orders & revenue report — those cover payments and refunds, which this log does not.
