Capture leads without a connection
For exhibitors — keep scanning when the venue wifi drops, and sync when it returns.
This guide is for exhibitors.
Venue wifi fails. Exhibition halls are among the worst places for mobile signal — thousands of people, a lot of metal, and a network built for a much smaller crowd.
The capture app keeps working anyway. Leads are saved on your phone and queued.
What to do
Nothing different. Keep scanning.
Saved leads go into a local queue on the device.
Sync when you have signal
- Get back to a working connection — wifi, or step outside for mobile data.
- Open the app and tap Sync now.

Lead capture app with the sync now action and the queued lead count - Queued leads upload.
Sync often
This is the part that matters.
Sync at every break. Morning, lunch, afternoon, and before you leave the venue each day.
Leads sitting on a phone are one lost, broken or flat phone away from being gone entirely. There is no copy anywhere else until they sync.
Do not close the browser tab, clear your browser data, or use private browsing while you have unsynced leads. Any of those can discard the queue and there is no recovery.
Before you leave the event
Sync every device your team used, and confirm the queue is empty on each one.
Then check the totals in My leads against roughly what you expect. A number that looks too low means something never synced — and it is far easier to fix while you are still at the venue than from the office on Monday.
What happens next
Once synced, leads appear in My leads and reach the organizer.
Syncing does not create duplicates if you tap it more than once.
Common problems
The queue will not clear. You still have no working connection. Step outside and try mobile data.
Leads are missing after syncing. They may have been on a different device. Check every phone your team used.
You cleared your browser and lost the queue. Unsynced leads are gone. Nothing can recover them — which is why syncing at every break matters.
Sync is slow. A large queue on a poor connection takes time. Leave it open until it finishes rather than closing the tab.
You are not sure whether it synced. Check the queued count. Empty means everything is uploaded.
