Add people to your invitation list

Add one person

1. Open Invitations and go to Add people.
2. Fill in Full name, Email, and Phone (for WhatsApp) if you plan to invite by WhatsApp.

   

3. Click Add.

Paste a whole list

1. Find Or paste a list.
2. Paste one guest per line as Name, email, phone:

Layla Hassan, layla@example.com, +201000000000
Omar Farid, omar@example.com

1. Click Add list.

Phone is optional on each line. Leave it off for anyone you will only email.

Getting the list right first

Adding is the easy part. The list itself is where invitations go wrong.

• De-duplicate before you paste. The same person twice gets two invitations, which looks careless to exactly the people you are trying to impress.
• Check the spelling of names. These are your VIPs, and the name you type is the name in their invitation email and on their badge.
• Use their real email, not a shared assistant or info@ address, unless that is genuinely how they are reached.
• Include country codes on phone numbers if you will use WhatsApp. A local-format number will not send.

What happens next

Added people appear on the list with a status, but nothing is sent yet. Sending is a separate, deliberate step — see Send invitations by email.

That separation is intentional: it lets you build and check the list before anything reaches a real inbox.

Common problems

A pasted line was skipped. It had no usable email, or the commas were wrong. Check for extra commas inside a name — "Hassan, Layla" reads as two fields.

Someone was added twice. Delete the duplicate before sending.

Phone numbers are rejected. Include the country code with a leading +.

You pasted the wrong list. Delete the entries individually before sending. Once invitations are out you cannot recall them.

You want to import a CSV. Invitations take a pasted list, not a file upload. Copy the relevant columns out of your spreadsheet.
