Help center / Program: agenda & speakers
Add a session
Put a talk, workshop or break on the agenda, with its time, room, capacity and speakers.
Steps
- Open Program, go to Agenda, and add a session to a track.
- Fill in:- Name — the session title.- Start and End.- Location — the room, if it differs from the track.- Description — what it covers.- Capacity — for a session with limited places.- Related sessions and speakers.

Session panel with name, times, location, description and capacity - Save.
Writing session titles
Titles are how attendees decide where to go. They are read in a list of thirty others on a phone.
- Say what it is about, not just a clever phrase. "Scaling Postgres past 10TB" beats "Breaking Point".
- Keep them short. Long titles truncate in the agenda list.
- Be consistent. Either every title is a statement or every title is a question — mixing reads as untidy.
Include the gaps
Add breaks, lunch and registration as sessions. An agenda that jumps from 10:30 to 14:00 with nothing in between looks broken, and attendees genuinely wonder whether something is missing.
They also give your agenda a rhythm that makes the whole day easier to read.
Capacity
Set it for workshops and anything with limited places. It appears on the agenda so attendees know it is constrained.
Speakers
Attach speakers you have added — see Add a speaker. Add the speakers first and the session picks them up.
What happens next
Sessions appear on your public agenda through a schedule / agenda section, and speakers through a speakers section — see The section types.
Sessions can also have their own check-in — see Check attendees into a session.
Common problems
The session is not on the public agenda. It is hidden, or your site has no schedule section.
Times look wrong. Times are shown in each visitor's own timezone. State the event timezone somewhere on your site if you have international attendees.
A speaker is not in the picker. Add them on the Speakers tab first.
Two sessions overlap in one room. Not detected. Check for clashes yourself.
You have thirty sessions to enter. Do not type them. See Import and export sessions.
