Help center / Program: agenda & speakers
Edit, duplicate, hide or delete a session
Change a session after publishing, repeat one, or take it off the agenda without losing it.
Edit
Open the session on the Agenda tab, change what you need, and save. Changes appear on your public agenda immediately.
Duplicate
Copies the session with its details. Use it for a workshop running twice, or a session repeated on another day — duplicate, then change the time.
Hide and show
Hide removes a session from the public agenda but keeps it in the editor.
Better than deleting in most cases:
- A session waiting on a confirmed speaker.
- A slot you are holding but have not announced.
- A talk that was cancelled — hide it rather than deleting, so you keep the record.
- Next year's draft agenda, built in advance.
Delete
Permanent, and it takes the session's check-in records with it. Only delete something entered by mistake.
Changing a session after you have announced it
Your agenda is something people plan travel around.
- Time changes need telling people about. Nobody re-reads the agenda. Send an email — see Send an email campaign.
- Room changes need signage on the day as well as an agenda update.
- Cancellations — hide the session and tell anyone who was counting on it.
The public agenda updates silently. Someone who checked last week has no idea it moved. Every change to a published agenda needs a communication decision, not just an edit.
What happens next
The public agenda reflects changes as soon as they are saved. Sessions with check-in enabled keep their attendance record unless deleted.
Common problems
A hidden session still shows. Reload; if it persists, check you hid the right one — duplicates look identical.
A duplicate changed with the original. It should not — duplicates are independent. Check which one you edited.
You deleted the wrong session. Rebuild it, or re-import from a CSV export if you have one — see Import and export sessions.
Times shifted unexpectedly. Times display in the viewer's timezone.
You want to change many sessions at once. Use bulk actions, or export, edit and re-import.
