Filter and export a report
Narrow a report to a date range and download the full data as CSV.

Every report works the same way.
Steps
- Open Reports and pick a report from the list.
- Set From and To.
- Read the headline numbers, charts and the row table.

Reports page with a report selected, date filters and the results table - Click Export CSV for the complete data.
Clear removes the date filter.
The screen is a preview, the export is the data
The on-screen table is capped at 2,000 rows. The export is not.
For anything above a couple of thousand records, do not read totals off the screen — export and work in a spreadsheet.
Choosing a date range
Leave it empty for the whole event. Usually what you want for a final report.
Narrow it to answer a specific question: registrations during an early-bird window, check-ins on day one, orders in a single month for accounting.
Dates apply to the event the record belongs to — a registration is dated when it was made, a check-in when it happened.
What to do with the export
Open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
Two things that catch people:
- Arabic or accented text looks wrong in Excel. The file is UTF-8; Excel guesses otherwise. Open Excel first, then *Data → From Text/CSV*, and choose UTF-8. Sheets and Numbers handle it correctly.
- Long numbers lose leading zeros. Excel reformats anything numeric. Import via *From Text/CSV* and set those columns to Text.
Export the reports you care about in the week after your event and keep the files somewhere permanent. They are your only record of what actually happened, and next year you will want them.
What happens next
Exports download immediately. Nothing here changes any data — reports are read-only.
Common problems
Empty export. The date filter excludes everything, or that feature was unused. Clear the filter.
Fewer rows than the report shows. The other way round is normal — the screen is capped, the export is complete. If the export is genuinely smaller, the filter changed between viewing and exporting.
Nothing downloads. Your browser blocked it. Check for a blocked-download notice in the address bar.
Charts are not in the export. Exports are data, not charts. Rebuild the chart in your spreadsheet if you need one.
You need two reports combined. Export both and join them in a spreadsheet on email address.
