Act on several attendees at once

Select rows and email, check in, approve, tag, print badges or delete them in one go.

Bulk actions are the fastest thing on this page, and the easiest to fire at the wrong people. The habit that prevents that: filter first, then select.

Steps

Open Attendees and narrow the list with the filters — see Find and filter your attendee list.

Tick the rows you want, or the tickbox in the header to select everything shown.

A bar appears at the bottom with the actions. Choose one.

Confirm.

Clear selection empties your selection without doing anything.

What each action does

Send email — either resend the confirmation and QR ticket, or write a Custom message with your own Subject and Message. Good for "your session moved to Hall B".

Print badges — generates badges for everyone selected. See Print badges in a batch.

Check in / Undo check-in — marks them as arrived, or reverses it. Useful for a delegation arriving together, or for undoing a scanning mistake.

Approve — approves registrations waiting on approval. See Approve registrations.

Set status — moves everyone to Pending, Confirmed, Waitlisted, Cancelled or Rejected in one go.

Add tag / Remove tag — applies or strips one of your own labels.

Export selected — a CSV of just the selected rows, rather than the whole filtered list.

Delete — removes them permanently.

Delete cannot be undone, and it is right next to the other actions. Before deleting in bulk, export the same selection first — then you have a copy if it turns out you were one filter off.

What happens next

Emails send immediately, to everyone selected. There is no draft step and no undo, so check the count in the bar against what you expect before you confirm.

For anything going to a large group, first send it to yourself: select only your own test registration, run the action, read the result. Then do the real send.

Common problems

The selection cleared when you changed page. Selection covers the rows currently loaded. For a group larger than one page, either raise the page size to 200 or narrow the filters further.

"Select all" picked fewer people than expected. It selects the rows on screen, not everyone matching the filter. Increase rows per page.

An email went to the wrong group. Filters and selection are independent — a stale filter is the usual cause. Check the audit log to see exactly who was affected.

Nothing happens when you click. Finance and viewer roles can select and export but cannot run any other bulk action.
