Check someone in from the attendee list
Mark an arrival without scanning, and undo one you got wrong.
The Check-in page is what you use at the door — it is faster and built for a queue. Use the attendee list instead for corrections, for someone who arrived before the desk opened, or for a group being marked in from the office.
Check one person in
- Open Attendees and click their row.
- Turn on Checked in.
- Click Save changes.

Check a group in
- Filter or search to find them.
- Tick their rows.
- Use Check in in the bulk bar.
Good for a delegation arriving on one bus, or a sponsor's staff.
Undoing a check-in
Same route, either Undo check-in in the bulk bar or the toggle in their panel.
Do this when someone was scanned twice, when the wrong person was scanned, or when you checked in a whole group before they actually turned up.
What happens next
Your check-in numbers update immediately — on the Check-in page's live stats, on Overview, and in the check-in reports.
Checking someone in here does not print a badge. If you print badges on arrival, use the print kiosk, which can do both in one scan.
Common problems
The toggle will not save. Check-in staff can check people in but cannot change other details; finance and viewer cannot check anyone in at all. See What each team role can do.
Someone is checked in who never arrived. Almost always a double scan or a mis-scan at the door. Undo it from here.
Your numbers look too high. Check for duplicates — the same person on two records, both scanned, counts twice. See Find and merge duplicate attendees.
You need to know when they arrived, not just that they did. The Check-in / check-out report in Reports has the times.
