Delete an attendee
Remove a registrant permanently — and the two things you should usually do instead.
Usually, do something else
Deleting removes the row and everything attached to it, and it cannot be undone.
- They cancelled. Set their status to Cancelled instead. Your history stays intact and you can still see they had registered.
- They asked you to erase their data. Use Anonymize — see Handle a data request. It removes the person but keeps your counts and revenue correct.
Deleting is the right answer for genuine junk: spam registrations, and your own test bookings before you go live.
Steps
- Open Attendees and click the person's row.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm.

To delete several, tick their rows and use Delete in the bulk bar. See Act on several attendees at once.
What happens next
They disappear from the list. Their registration answers, check-in record and email history go with them, and your counts drop.
If they paid, deleting the attendee does not refund them. Refund the order first from the Reconciliation tab — see Refund an order — then delete. In the other order you lose the easy route to their order.
Their QR code stops working. Anyone holding a printed ticket for a deleted attendee will not scan in.
Common problems
You deleted the wrong person. Rebuild them with Add an attendee manually, then resend their confirmation. Their original registration answers and check-in history are gone.
You want to clear all your test registrations before going live. Tag them as you create them, then filter by that tag and bulk delete. Far safer than picking them out by eye later.
There is no Delete button. Only owners and admins can delete. Finance and viewer are read-only.
You want to remove everyone and start again. Do not delete in bulk to do this. Export first, then talk to support — there is usually a better route than emptying a live event.
