Add packages to an event and set the price

Your catalog defines packages. This is where you decide which ones this event sells, and for how much.

Steps

1. Open Exhibitors and go to the Packages tab.
2. Click Add a package to this event and pick one from your catalog.
3. Set this event's price.
4. Set an availability limit — how many can be sold.

   

5. Save.

Pricing

The price is per event, so the same Gold package can be priced differently at a large annual conference and a small regional one.

Price is what your public exhibitor page shows, and what a card payment charges.

Availability limits

Always set one, for two reasons.

Scarcity sells. "Only 2 Gold packages remaining" closes deals that an open-ended list does not.

You can only physically fit so many. A limit stops you selling twelve booths into a hall that holds ten.

Set the limit to what you can actually deliver, not what you hope to sell.

Removing a package from an event

You can take a package off this event without touching the catalog. Other events keep it.

Do not remove one that has already been sold at this event — the confirmed exhibitors reference it.

What happens next

Added packages appear on your public exhibitor page for companies to apply for. Make sure your site has an exhibit apply section — see The section types.

Applications land on the Exhibitors tab — see Approve or reject an application.

Common problems

Nothing shows on the public exhibitor page. No packages added to this event, or your site has no exhibit apply section.

The price is wrong on the public page. You edited the catalog rather than this event's price. Price is set here.

A package sold out but people are still applying. Check the availability limit is set on this event, not just planned.

You want to price differently for two exhibitor types. Not supported per package. Create two catalog packages with different names and prices.

A package is not in the picker. It does not exist in the catalog yet — see Build your package catalog.
