Set your exhibitor application questions

Add the questions companies answer when they apply, beyond the built-in contact details.

Who can do thisowneradmin

Exhibitor application questions are edited in the Form builder, not on the Exhibitors page — the same editor as your registration form, in a different mode.

Steps

  1. Open Form builder.
  2. Switch the mode at the top to Exhibitor application.

  3. Add, edit, reorder and delete questions exactly as you would for registration — see Add a question.
  4. Save.

What is already collected

Company name, Your name, Email and Phone are always collected and shown greyed out. Do not add your own versions of these.

What is worth asking

Keep the application short. A long form loses exhibitors, and you can ask for detail after they are confirmed — that is what package requirements are for, see Set what a package includes and requires.

Usually worth asking at application:

Not worth asking at application:

If you are vetting rather than selling to anyone who applies, add a question that lets you actually decide. "What will you be showing?" separates a serious exhibitor from a company hoping to sell into your audience from a booth.

What happens next

Questions appear on your public exhibitor application. Answers show under Application details when you review each application — see Approve or reject an application.

Common problems

You cannot find where to edit them. They are in the Form builder, under the exhibitor application mode — not on the Exhibitors page.

A question is not on the public application. Save, then reload the public page.

Applications arrive with nothing useful. Your questions are too generic. Ask something a decision actually depends on.

You want different questions per package. Not supported — one application form covers all packages.

You want to ask after approval instead. Use package requirements. Those appear in the exhibitor's portal once confirmed.
