Edit, block or free a booth
Set a booth's code, price and specs, take it off sale, or mark it as taken.
Steps
- Open Exhibitors, go to Floor plan, and click a booth.
- Edit what you need:- Code — the booth number attendees and exhibitors navigate by.- Price override — a price for this specific booth, different from the package price.- Specs — size, depth, and anything particular about the stand.

Price overrides
Not every booth is worth the same. A corner stand by the entrance is genuinely more valuable than one at the back of an aisle.
A price override lets you charge accordingly without creating a separate package for every position.
Use it sparingly. A floor where every booth has a different price is hard to sell and harder to explain.
Blocking a booth
Block takes a booth off sale without deleting it. It stays on the plan and cannot be selected or allocated.
Block booths that are:
- Reserved for an anchor sponsor who has not formally applied yet.
- Not really usable — behind a pillar, blocked by a fire exit, no power.
- Held for your own use — a registration desk, an information point, a charging area.
- Not being sold this year, because you are running a smaller floor.
If vendors pick their own booths, block your reserved stands before opening applications. The best positions go within hours, and taking one back from a company that already chose it is a conversation nobody wants.
Unblock puts it back on sale.
Marking a booth as taken
Mark a booth taken when it is allocated outside the normal flow — a deal agreed offline, a partner arrangement, space given to a co-organiser.
It shows as unavailable without being tied to an application.
Deleting a booth
Permanent. Only delete booths that were generated by mistake. For anything else, block it.
What happens next
Blocked and taken booths show as unavailable on the public plan. Freed booths become selectable again immediately.
Common problems
A booth cannot be selected. It is blocked, taken, or already allocated.
Someone got a booth you were holding. It was not blocked. Block reserved stands before opening applications.
The price override is not applying. Save, then check the public plan rather than the editor.
You deleted a booth with an exhibitor on it. Reallocate them to another booth and update their listing — see Edit an exhibitor's public listing.
Two booths have the same code. Nothing prevents it, and it causes real confusion on the day. Check your codes are unique per hall.
