Visibility is what makes tickets work

A ticket is only offered to the attendee types you tick. This is how a speaker never sees the delegate price, and how a student rate is not available to everyone.

If a ticket is visible to nobody, it cannot be bought by anybody. That is the most common reason a ticket "does not appear".

Group bookings

Min per order and Max per order let one person book several places. A minimum of 5 makes a genuine group rate; a maximum stops one buyer taking your whole allocation.

A group booking creates one order. How the individual attendees within it are captured depends on your form — check what you actually get by making a group booking yourself before relying on it for a corporate table.

Quantity, capacity, and the difference

Quantity limit caps this ticket. Capacity on an attendee type caps that type across all its tickets. They are separate and both apply.

A 500-capacity Delegate type with three tickets of 200 each still stops at 500 delegates.

What happens next

The ticket appears at the ticket step of your form once its sales window has opened and it is visible to that attendee type.

Once the quantity is exhausted, registrants may be waitlisted rather than blocked, depending on your setup — check by exhausting a test ticket yourself.

Common problems

The ticket does not appear. Work through, in order: is it enabled, is it inside its sales window, is it visible to that attendee type, is the quantity gone.

Everyone sees every ticket. Every attendee type is ticked under visibility. Untick the ones that should not see it.

You need two prices for the same ticket. Do not duplicate the ticket — use price phases.

The price is right but the total is not. Tax is set to exclusive. See Set your currency, tax and invoice numbering.

You want to stop sales right now. Disable the ticket, or set its sales end to a moment in the past. See Edit, disable or delete a ticket.
