Create and manage tracks
Group your sessions into parallel streams, and duplicate a whole track with a time shift.

A track is a stream of sessions — usually a room, a theme, or a day. Sessions live inside tracks, so create these first.
Steps
- Open Program and go to the Agenda tab.
- Add a track and give it a name and colour.

Program agenda tab with the track list and add track control - Add sessions to it — see Add a session.
Naming tracks
Two conventions, and mixing them is what makes an agenda confusing.
By room — "Main Hall", "Workshop Room A". Best when the room is fixed and attendees navigate physically.
By theme — "Engineering", "Design", "Business". Best when attendees choose by interest.
Pick one and apply it throughout. Half rooms and half themes reads as a mistake.
Colours are worth setting: on a busy agenda, colour is how someone follows one track down the page.
Duplicating a track
Duplicate copies a track and its sessions, with an optional time shift in hours.
This is the single biggest time-saver in the Program section. A three-day event where each day follows the same shape is one track built properly and duplicated twice with a 24-hour shift, rather than three tracks built by hand.
Also useful for a workshop repeated in the afternoon: duplicate with a shift, then edit the details.
Renaming and deleting
Rename at any time; sessions stay attached.
Delete asks whether to remove its sessions too. Deleting a track without its sessions leaves them under No track, which is a reasonable way to reorganise without losing anything.
Before restructuring the agenda, export your sessions to CSV. It is a complete snapshot, and if the restructure goes wrong you can re-import — see Import and export sessions.
What happens next
Tracks and their sessions appear on your public site wherever you have a schedule / agenda section — see The section types.
Common problems
Sessions are not on the public agenda. They are hidden, or the page has no schedule section.
The duplicated track is at the wrong time. Set the time shift when duplicating. To fix afterwards, edit each session or delete and duplicate again.
Sessions show under No track. Their track was deleted without them. Reassign them by editing each session.
Two tracks clash for the same room. evenclo does not detect this. Check your own schedule for conflicts.
Colours look wrong on the public site. Track colours interact with your theme — see Change your theme, colours and fonts.
