What evenclo is, and how it is organized
How your workspace, your events and your event subdomains fit together — worth five minutes before you build anything.
evenclo is how teams run events on the ground: registration, ticketing, badges and check-in, floor plans, exhibitors and live analytics, in one place.
Almost everything else in this help center makes more sense once you know how the pieces nest. There are only three.
Your workspace
Your organization has one workspace. Your team members live in the workspace, not in a single event, so someone you invite once can work across every event you run.
Billing, your team and your shared exhibitor package catalog belong to the workspace.
Your events
A workspace holds as many events as you like. Almost everything you will actually work on belongs to one event: its registration form, tickets, attendees, badges, sessions, exhibitors and reports.
This is the part worth internalizing: two events never share attendee lists, tickets or forms. If you run the same conference annually, next year's event is a new event with its own everything. That is deliberate — it keeps last year's data intact and out of the way.
Your event's own address
Every event gets its own web address from its slug:
your-event-slug.evenclo.com
That is the public site your attendees see — the landing page, the registration form, the floor plan. You pick the slug when you create the event, and it goes live immediately.
Two other addresses are worth bookmarking:
dashboard.evenclo.com— where you sign in and see all your events.your-event-slug.evenclo.com/admin.html— one specific event's overview, email editor and analytics.
Most of the dashboard works the same whichever event you came from, because the event is carried in the address. If a page ever looks like it is showing the wrong event's data, check which event you have open rather than assuming the data is wrong.
What to read next
If you are setting up for the first time, work in this order:
- Sign in to evenclo
- Create an event
- Work through the setup checklist
- What each team role can do, before you invite anyone
Common problems
You signed in and there are no events. That is the normal state for a brand new workspace. Create your first one with Create an event.
You cannot see a page other people on your team talk about. The sidebar only shows what your role can reach. What each team role can do lists which role sees what.
