Edit an exhibitor's public listing

Control what attendees see about a confirmed exhibitor on your floor plan and directory.

Who can do thisowneradmin

A confirmed exhibitor's public listing is what attendees see: their name, logo, description and booth. It appears on your floor plan and exhibitor directory.

Steps

  1. Open Exhibitors and go to the Exhibitors tab.
  2. Open a confirmed exhibitor.
  3. Edit their public listing.

  4. Save.

Why you would edit it

Exhibitors supply their own details through the portal, and the quality varies enormously. You are the last check before attendees see it.

Common fixes:

Do a listing sweep about a week out. Read every listing as an attendee would, and fix the worst. It takes an hour and visibly improves the floor plan and the directory — the two things attendees actually use to plan their day.

What attendees use it for

The listing is how someone decides which booths to visit. A good one answers "should I walk over there?" in a few seconds.

That means the description matters more than the logo. "Payment infrastructure for small retailers" is useful. "Empowering tomorrow, today" is not.

What happens next

Changes appear on your public floor plan and directory as soon as they are saved.

If the floor plan is not visible to attendees yet, nothing shows publicly — see Turn on the floor plan.

Common problems

An exhibitor is not in the public directory. They are not confirmed, or the floor plan is not published to attendees.

Their logo looks wrong. Ask for a PNG with a transparent background. See Add images to a section for sizing.

They keep changing their own listing back. Exhibitors can edit through the portal. Talk to them rather than fighting over the field.

The booth number is wrong. Fix it on the floor plan, not just the listing — see Edit, block or free a booth.

You want to hide an exhibitor from the directory. Not directly supported. Contact support if a listing must not appear.
