Add the Arabic version of your site

Enable Arabic, translate your own copy, and check it reads properly right to left.

Who can do thisowneradmin

evenclo's own wording is already translated. What needs you is the copy you wrote — your headings, your paragraphs, your button labels.

Steps

  1. Enable Arabic in Theme — see Change your theme, colours and fonts.
  2. Switch the editor language toggle to Arabic.

  3. Work down each section, filling in the Arabic for every text field.
  4. Repeat for every page.
  5. Publish.

What you are translating

Only your own words. Buttons, form chrome, validation messages and the ticket step are already Arabic.

Do not forget:

Check it properly

Switch the preview to Arabic and read it as an Arabic reader would, right to left.

Look for:

Then check it on a phone. Do this before you publish, not after.

Have a native Arabic speaker read it. Translated marketing copy tends to be technically correct and tonally wrong, and only a native reader will tell you which parts feel stiff.

What happens next

Visitors get a language toggle. Their choice follows them through the whole flow — pages, registration, payment and the confirmation email.

Arabic uses IBM Plex Sans Arabic, the same typeface family as the English, so the two languages sit together rather than looking bolted on.

Common problems

The toggle is not on the public site. Arabic is not enabled in Theme.

Arabic renders as empty boxes. Your theme font does not support Arabic. Change it.

Sections are still English. Those fields have no Arabic value. Untranslated content falls back rather than showing blanks.

The layout looks wrong in Arabic. Usually a hard-coded direction in a Custom section or custom CSS. See Custom HTML, CSS and JS.

The confirmation email is in the wrong language. It follows the language they registered in.
