The ones that pull live data
Speakers and Schedule / agenda come from the Program section — add a speaker there and the site updates itself. Do not retype your agenda into a Custom section; it will go stale within a week.
Registration form, Exhibit apply and Floor plan embed the real thing rather than a copy, so they can never drift from what actually works.
Building a homepage that converts
Order matters more than section count. A reliable sequence:
- Navbar
- Hero — what, when, where, and a register button
- Countdown — if the date is near enough to create urgency
- About event — two short paragraphs
- Speakers — the strongest reason most people attend
- Schedule — proof there is substance
- Pricing / tickets
- Registration form or Registration CTA
- Sponsors
- FAQ
- Footer
Put a way to register in the hero *and* near the bottom. People decide at different points, and scrolling back up to find a button is a real reason they leave.
A note on the WebGL hero
It looks impressive and costs a lot in load time and battery, and it can struggle on older phones — which is what a large share of your audience will be using. Test it on a mid-range Android over mobile data before committing. A strong photograph in a Cover section usually performs better.
Common problems
Speakers or Schedule are empty. Nothing has been added in Program yet, or the entries are hidden.
The registration form section shows nothing. The form is not published. See Preview and publish your form.
The floor plan is not visible. It has to be turned on for attendees in the Exhibitors settings.
You need something not on this list. Use Custom, and see Custom HTML, CSS and JS.
