Push your draft live, and what to check before you do.

Everything you do in the page editor is a draft. Publishing is what makes it public.

Steps

Open Page editor.
Check the preview on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.
Click Publish.

Check before you publish

Ten minutes here, against a site that will be seen by everyone you invite.

On mobile, properly. Not the mobile preview — your actual phone, on mobile data rather than office wifi. Most of your visitors arrive this way and it is the view most likely to be wrong.

Every link. Navbar links, buttons, footer links. A broken register button is an expensive typo.

The registration flow, end to end. Click register from the homepage, complete the form, pay if it is paid, and confirm the email arrives.

Speed. If it takes more than a few seconds to appear, your images are too large — see Add images to a section.

Arabic, if enabled. Toggle and read it — see Add the Arabic version of your site.

Read the words out loud. Typos in headings are invisible on screen and obvious when spoken.

Publishing and event status are different things

Publishing pushes your page changes live. Whether the public can reach the site at all is the event status — see Take your event from draft to published.

A published page on a Draft event is still not visible to anyone.

What happens next

Changes are live at your event address immediately.

There is no scheduled publishing. If something must appear at a specific moment — a programme announcement, an early-bird deadline — build it hidden, then unhide and publish at the time.

Common problems

The live site has not changed. You did not publish, or you are looking at a cached page. Hard refresh.

The site is not reachable at all. Your event is Draft. See Take your event from draft to published.

It looks different from the preview. The preview shows your draft. If they differ after publishing, refresh.

You published something unfinished. Hide the section and publish again. It takes seconds.

Someone shared it and the preview image is wrong. See Set a page's title, description and share image. Sharing platforms cache these, so fix it before announcing.
